I hope someone more knowledgeble also posts, but since i read it I'll give you my take.

Up temps is good, not to far of course. If an upper RI or issue, I take the snake off the aspen I use, it sucks up to much moisture. Paper towels super clean, a bit more humid too.

But since you said it happened afte a shed I'm wondering if it has a nostril shed stuck? Look close, see if you see any shed left over.
