The plus side is you can plug them into the wall ot thermostat and they are the best for circulating large areas. I use two AC fans in my dual chambered incubator. They do run hotter than DC but you will never be able to tell the difference plus they only run at about 5 watts. The only down side to the higher powered AC fans is that since they produce higher RPMs they make more noise. Again they range in power and RPM capabilities so you can get nearly silent fans. | ||
