yes it is. It is also much harder to regulate temps in an enclosure that is so wet. While I do maintain that most people keep their leos at too low a humidity (20 or so), (see my post on desert life of leos above) I think that humidity up in the 80 range is in fact too high. I would say I wouldnt go that high unless it was a temporary raise in reference to shed problems, or a reading inside the humid hide. I have used 80% humidities for sick geckoes on the mend, though this is more due the dehydrating effects of their meds. I prob would not recommend going much higher than 50-60 on a regular basis, and do keep a closer eye on temps in that case. -----
