Hard to sort out who's who in classifieds, and what you are really getting. Not to say there are not good snakes out there on it but I think the folks in this business for teh right reasons are selling snakes and doing just fine using smart marketing and solid web sites and never need post a classified "help I need money ad." I am am very skeptical when I read so many "I have to sell these to pay for this or that." Good Balls from good businesses almost sell themselves. There is plenty of money to be made but only if you are willing to go balls to the wall...hey a pun...and approach it like any buiness with a plan and a ton of passion and hard work. There are many flashes in the pan who thought they'd make a million just because they bought two snakes. It doesn't work like that. If you like snakes do it because you like them and make a goal to earn enough to pay for their care and buy more to propogate you hobby, that is very doable. If you want to make real money refer back to notes on a business plan, etc.

Too many people panic, in our humble opinion. Snakes take time to sell. The nice thing is with evey day they grow bigger toward adulthood their price just goes up. You see lots of desparation ads over recently hatched babies. You have to know you will not sell them all teh day they hatch. Sales trickle in here and there, some may not sell for several years...and that is just fine if you understand that and have that incorporated into your plan. I think Ralp Davis has some of the best rants on these topics I have ever read...man I love that guy's candor.
