Its about a 5 second burst of misting from the pressure sprayer... and then I leave it alone... no changing of papertowels. If you're gonna change it do it before. Undertank heaters I just use an off brand.. whatever I happen to come across in my local petshop. You can use human heating pads that don't have an automatic on/off switch too if you like and just set it on medium. Works perfect usually.
