If you want a true red tail you will need something bigger (I don't know the exact size). Red tail boa is a very general term, by hobbyists it refers to a boa constrictor contrictor, or south american boa,this includes Surinames, Guyanas, Peruvians, and Brazilians. In pet store terms, it refers to a colombian or a generic mutt boa. It is called a red tail do distract people from the fact that is is actually called a boa constrictor . This is called a pet store boa or a common boa sometimes (not by pet stores though, they like to make you think that everything they have is special). | ||
