My best suggestion is to sit back, and disturb the boa as little as possible. Is your husbandry optimal, specifically temp, humidity, and seclusion?

Dystocia is much, much more rare in live bearing snakes than in egg layers. Because of this, acknowledging the signs of a problem birthing is difficult. I'd say that if you see actual pushing motions, over an hour, that are unproductive, and the animal is in distress, take your animal into a vet. In the mean time though, remember problems are rare, and the snake will likely "do what's natural".
