Here are two shots of my big girl, Jasmine, ovulating. The first one is from last season - her first breeding season - the second is from yesterday. There is quite a difference from the two ovulations - her first season she ovulated for two days and the swelling was quite a bit bigger. This season she ovulated for 1/2 a day and it is quite a bit smaller but definately ovulation. She is about 600 grams heavier than she was last season. So I'm wondering if this means she is having a smaller clutch? Or does it have anything to do with the fact that she is bigger now or maybe since shes been through it once before she is more efficient at getting those follicles into the ducts and fertilized? Anyone been anal enough to document the ovulations of your females and noticed any differences?
Thought or experiences?
