I just picked some of this up last week to use in my calabar ground python's enclosure. They burrow so I thought this might be a better option than soil or aspen substrates. It holds moisture pretty well, but dries to a fine powder almost. If left to dry it could possibily cause respiratory problems. Sorry, to soon to know too much more .
