Posted by: crazyreptilelady at Thu Mar 9 08:30:24 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by crazyreptilelady ] So I have a female 05 who was aquired in late November. I have been watching her. Treated her for a RI. Was seen by the vet. Has otherwise been doing well. About a month ago she got a white spot on her head and started soaking. From the info here, I was suspicous of mites so I started watching her closely. She shed about 2 weeks later -her first shed since I have had her-and it went away and she stopped soaking. I went on vacation last week and just returned and she is COVERED in adult (??) mites. About the size of a sentence period. I plan on ordering some prevent-a-mite when LLLreptile opens at 1pm my time but is there anything I can do for her today until I receive the products?? What cleaning procedure can I do immediately after work to relieve some stress. Are there any last effects? This is my second ball python and have never experienced this before. Do I need to treat all my reptiles?? I have other snakes and geckos. Please help! | ||
