Posted by: wwreptiles at Thu Mar 9 19:59:58 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by wwreptiles ] I have used extra virgin olive oil, lightly coat your hands and then let your snake crawl thru your hands, this will lightly coat your snake and I do mean lightly no need to saturate just a light coat of "extra virgin olive oil" when the mites come out from the scales they will come into contact with this oil and it will kill them (suffocation) Also I like to add the no pest strip in the room, not in the cage but in the room, this will do away with anything that hatches so that the cycle cannot be repeated and I'd leave the no pest strip in the room for 3-4 months.
