Posted by: ajfreptiles at Thu Mar 9 14:37:34 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ajfreptiles ] Man, it looks like you need some moisture in your house...Hey snakes need heat and when you add heat it takes out the moisture...so add the moisture back all the time. Those boas need to soak in some luke warm water in a tub...make sure they can rest on the bottom and not have the water over their head or they will drown...it would be even better if you could have this water tub inside their cage...so they can soak at will....Then after they go into another shed...use a spray bottle every so often through the day and misting them down...They should shed in one piece and it should be all rolled up like a doughnut. Aquariums with screen tops and a heat light is usually the problem for low humidity. Boas need belly heat more than the heat from the lights, so that may help you. Andy | ||
