Just as morph genes can be inherited so can basic "normal" genes - we have seen things like reduced patterns, blushings, blackbacks, clear bellies, flames, jungle patterns, etc. being passed down from one generation to the next in morphs and normals.
When looking at what makes a better pastel - you need to look at both the pastel genes going into as well as the "normal" genes. ----- Tosha
