From what I have seen they do not go around fighting one another off. I have seen greens breeding the browns as well as browns breeding the greens. The greens tend to hang out in the foilage, while the browns are on the ground or lower parts of the tree trunks. In my nieghborhood as well as other parts of FL. I think it is safe to say they can co-exist without either being eradicated. Of course if you tip the scales to favor one over the other you may see one slipping, but that slip will not be a direct cause from the other. | ||
