Not sure exactly what type you mean, but, I used to use Aspen Pine chips for my Burmese, and my friend used it for his Red Tail as well. It works well, but is a bit expensive if you don't have a big name retailer around ( and even then its not cheap ). Its been a while since I had to buy any, so not sure of the price. I suppose it would do just as well for Balls.
