I usually mist them as they finish eating and they get distracted by the mist. They did go after each other in the past but it was before I started misting. I am also in the room the whole time. The wall opposite them has about 30 snakes on it and the one to the side has another 20 or so plus a baby rack on the other side with 42 drawers almost all full and finally the wall they are on has 12 snakes. I have 2 other cages with more than one snake in it so I feed the 3 of them first and then go about everyone else. Basically I am in there for about a hour at least after they are fed.



I did have a problem with the normal female going after the male and biting him at the beginning of the breeding season last year. She gave him a pretty good slice on the side but at that time most of my breeders where together and it would have been a problem anyway I would have to guess. She was just not ready and not in the mood at all apparently.
