As much as I've enjoyed mine (almost a year old now), I can't say he's exactly nuts about being handled. He regularly bites me and is lightning fast, too. I realize it's a monitor forum, but the Argentine tegus are excellent choices if you want a good sized, relatively handleable lizard. I have 2 now and neither is frightened of me. They eat almost anything I offer, even some fruits. Look up some info on them if you like. I don't reccommend the tegu forum, though. Not usually a lot of posting going on there. Just a thought. | ||
