Maybe we just had beginers luck, but here is our experience with pieds. In '03 we bought a pair of 100% hets from Harbor Reptiles (sorry, I don't know where he got his pieds from). The male got to over 700 grams in the first 6-8 months and fathered 3 clutches! Then, the next year the female 100% het pied got up to over 1700g and she gave us a clutch of 3 HUGE eggs when she was only about 18-20 months old. Well, out of those 3 eggs, two were pieds!!! A boy and a girl. We kept the boy and he is now at 6 months old and he is about 550g. We sold/traded the female to Bradford Cole reptiles, and a couple of months ago he posted on here that she was feeding STRONG on rats still and that she was over 700g. So, our two pieds seem to have done just fine in the feeding area. Actually, they have been among our best feeders that we have had. Here are a couple pics of our pieds.
