It was the first sunny and warm day in over a week, so I decided to take a few new pics of the EmberBalls. I was going to do a group shot, but the male Ember and female Mojave cross had just gone into the blue. So, I grabbed my female Ember and a poss het Axanthic female that I hatched out last year, and decided to do a comparison shot, instead of the group shot. The Ember female is around 600 grams, the poss het Axanthic female is about 450. I am extremely pleased with the way the Embers and Mojave crosses have aged. The Embers have not browned out at all, and compared to similar sized and smaller proven Fires, if infact the Embers prove to be Fires, I think the Embers hold their own. The Embers were stunning when they hatched, and looked great after their first sheds, but with some color morphs, I did not know what to expect as they aged. Bottom line, I am very pleased with their look as babies and as sub adults. The male Ember is about 650 grams, and both Embers are 100% Het Hypo.
