i find my snakes go into periods of laying in the same spot. i find it more common with my larger snake then with smaller ones. it is not all the time though, just for about a few days, more commonly right after eating.
i keep smaller snakes in tubs with heat pads and larger snakes in wood enclosures with lights. i find about the time when i am ready to move the snake into a wood enclosure they tend to move around less. in my larger enclosures i have a temerature drop at night and i think this facilitates activity of the snakes to adjust to the change in temeratures.

>>My male boa seems to lie around in the same spot from week to week between feedings. I have checked at night and everything. Is he just lazy or is this norm??
