i know we keep our leo's humid hide on the warm side along with a dry hide on warm side...it may be too cool in the middle for your little one...whats your temps in the tank???...my set up is a dry and humid on warm side calci dish and water dish in middle, dry hide on cool uth on warm side, and a black light to help maintain warm side temps....good luck

ps if he is keeping one or more eyes shut he may be dry try moving his humid hide to warm side and log to middle to see what happens
