Hi, My name is Rich Macias and have been reproducing genetic reduced patterns for many years. During this time, many people ask me why I label my particular breeding group "mudslides". This question is very understandable since reduced patterns have been around and are almost as commmon as "black backs" and "gold stripes (not to be confused with genetic stripes)".
Their are many different types of reduced patterns around. All have very little spotting (if any), however the reduced patterned animals still maintain different patterns including black back, banded, tiger, and womas. The "mudslides" I am describing are GENETIC BLACK BACK REDUCED PATTERNS. Intead of always using 5 word/initial label (GBBRP) I chose "mudslide" to describe this particular type of genetic reduced pattern (GRP).
