Question for experienced breeders.......

My 23 month old male poss super has been courting my female since November.She clearly is producing egg follicles.He STILL hasn't given up and continues to breed her with the occassional break for food or water.It looks like nothing is happening.Could it be she's not giving it up?Or does he not know how to copulate?Should I leave him in there?If so how much longer?Does it really take this long to get a boa pregnant?It has almost been 6 months.

This first pic was taken back in November pre ovulation SWELL.She hadn't eaten since September.This was when I still had a bad camera.
