And let me say that I've never bred BCI either so my limited experience is with BCC, BCA.



If he's still trying to breed let him have at it(I would feed him every once in a while so he doesn't screw himself to death. Great to do when either male or female is going into a shed and courting slows down. I would never interrupt courting or copulation to feed.



Have you witnessed copulation? where you can see his hemipenis in the female?



As long as he's trying leave him in. Based on the PICs, it looks like he knows what he's doing.



With BCC, I've had it take over 5 months from the time courting started to ovulation. This is only from my personal experience.
