Posted by: pythonis at Sat Mar 18 01:57:56 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by pythonis ] okay, i came home the other day took a shower had supper and all the usual stuff. walked over to my dumeril's tank and realized i had forgotten to secure the lid that morning. i had been gone for 12 hours so there was no telling where he had gone off to. i knew he would be either in a fairly large hiding spot so i searched my closet but no luck. my next guess was a heat source but he wasnt sitting atop any other tanks and he wasnt near the dryer or heat vents. where did i find him, you ask? in my bathroom, coiled up in between layers of my worn clothes from the previous day. so heres my question...why my clothes? why not a dark hiding spot? or a heat source like another tank? can a snake get "attached" to its owner and develop a sort of bond like a dog or a cat would? im just puzzled as to why he would choose my scent covered clothes and not somewhere else. anyway, just thought id share with you all and see if that had ever happened to any of ya. | ||
