I have seen reverse stripes before as many of us have...but these are reproducable!!!
You know you will be getting this look when you breed these animals....
I do not fully understand how this is working in the Hypo either....but the Hypo form is very different...and although I cannot photograph it well...there are actually the looks of two seperate patterns on the Hypo.. Almost like shadows under the red saddles....makes the whole animal look sort of blurry or two toned...The Hypo is loaded with purple color as well... as he matures I will try and get better pics of him.
This will be a fantastic new project for sure.
I guess I am looking forward to a black and white Anery with racing stripes!
Hope this helps, Andy
Now that I've figured out the jungle vs aberrant scenerio, I need help with this one. What is the difference between a reverse stripe (even a full body reverse stripe) and a jag? Is it just the way the gene is passed? The jag reverse stripe is dominant, while the regular reverse stripe is either line-bred or acts more like the kahl stripe?
And did you say your hypo was a HypoJag? If so, I didn't notice the reverse stripe...or does the reverse stripe have nothing to do with it?
I'm rather lost on this one. -----
