Jimmy, blue motleys are a very light phase anery motley that originally popped up in the collection of some guy in, I believe, in Slidel, LA. He lost most of them, and the rest went supposedly to the nice folks at Bayou Reptiles, which calls them light motleys. Not sure of the exact origin of the line being marketed as blue motley.
There is some speculation that this may be another new mutation. I know that several people are working with them to try and figure out what is going on. I believe that the males generally have more pink coloration. Some of the ones I've seen photos of are really unusual. I agree tht at first look you tend to think lav motley or ghost motley, but once you compare a few pictures of them, you'll see the difference. There is definately a bluish tinge to them, as opposed to the brownish tinge of most anery mots.
