I don't know enough about silkworms to say, but I've heard they areand exellent food source for lizards. Crickets and/or mealworms should make up the bigger part of the diet. Waxworms are fatty and tend to be addictive to leos, so I've read. There are also a couple species of cockroaches that are good too. Hope this helps.
