RE: heating???

It is a good idea to have an optional heat source at all times. The snake should have an option. I am kind of in the same boat accept it is for my bp. His heat source has stopped heating accept for 1 spot about the size of a quarter.... his tank was 62 when I got home last night and that really scared me. That is not good for a bp.
