Generally corns breed in the springtime, but it's possible to trick them into breeding at other times of the year if you simulate brumation conditions accurately enough.



Females generally can be bred only once a year, though if they're in good enough health and physical condition after laying, it's possible to double and even triple-clutch them.

Males aren't really limited in the number of times they can breed, although in a practical sense there's a limit to how many females you can put them with in a breeding season, since some recovery time is needed between breedings... generally to no more than a handful of females.
