Kidding aside, I guess a lot of people post pics of their pets
because they like them, not necesarily because they want them
to be looked at with a critical eye.

I'm POSITIVE that whoever sold or advertised them as pure Hogs is going to be 'offended' by the term mutt. I don't find it
offensive, I find it a little unsettling dealing with hyper-sensitivity and the whole 'Political Correctness' thing though.
