Most of them grow up to be just like the mothers and have big clutches. It is just good genetics. There are small snakes and bigger snakes. These aren't ball pythons that are like blood pythons or anything like that. But when you are breeding and you have a shot at a 9 egg clutch because of the size of the female or a 6 egg clutch which do you want to go for? These girls that we have and raise consistently have larger clutches than averaqge sized females. I also want to add that you have a better chance of getting a larger ball when one or both of the parents was larger. That is why we are reproducing these consistently. But most of the big breeders have larger females in thier collection. Some just don't release them. Hope I helped [ Hide Replies ]
