okay maybe my topic line is a little vague but listen to this. Last year I met a local guy who had some snakes for sale. okay nothing unsual about that right. Well I bought 3 snakes from him and as he was telling me the story later on about one of the snakes i bought...i was so confused lol. He inherited an old female ball which was about 20 years old...thats cool by it self but as he kept telling me the history... the only males he had in his collection was an adult 50% het pied and a pastel who was too young to breed. Getting to the point he had her for about 2 years by her self and the only time a male (50% het) was exposed to her was on cage cleaning days. He never noticed a lock up and they werent left together for long periods of time... well one day he goes to take care of her and she was laying on a clutch! He never noticed a lock up and he gets eggs?...if the 50% is not the dad do you think its possible that she self replicated? lol The babies came out super orange too. His pastel male matured for this season and she should be laying his babies soon, im so excited to see what these babies look like.

think i have freak babies or a 25% het pied? lol...any one else have weird stories like that? The snake was sold to me as a normal for a reasonable price so his story was not for financial gain...I just love thinking about this lol .. I think im going to check my girls for eggs.. I didnt breed this season so i might have a clutch :P lol
