I put on one of my old structure fire fighting gloves this morning and reached in and tried to get a finger around Spirit, very hard, she started moving away from me so I reached in with my other “Naked” hand and got the back half of her, picked her up far enough to get her in the glove and then lifted her out of the enclosure. She immediately started wrapping around my hand and fingers but not one hiss or strike or anything that would seem threatening to me. The strangest part about it is how when I first reached in she tried to move away rather than coil up like she dose normally when I open the enclosure. This is good however as it allowed me to pick her up slightly and place her in the glove and not risk a bite. I guess we will do it this way for a while until she gets use to me reaching in the enclosure. Thanks for all the help everyone. | ||
