The background genetics would not make a difference in a co-dom trait. I would be more interested in the amount of spotting and the amount of yellow. Different breeders are working toward different things, some less spots and some less yellow. It all matters what you want and what you think is more desireable. Don't buy an animal based on what other people like. It is better to pick the traits you like and work to make them better.

I like Tangerine albinos and hybinos and have decided to work with these to produce better and better offspring. Besides what if you get a sterile animal? Or what if demand for the morph dries up and you don't get your investment money back? It is better to get stuck with a bunch of animals that you like.

My opinion with the snows is that I would chose ones with reduced yellow. This is because I like them better, and because that is what makes a snow a snow. IMHO
