It does make it easier for them to shed if there is something like a rock or branch to facilitate the process. However I have observed them during the shedding process and noticed they can use pretty much any surface to begin the process. When they are ready as long as they have proper humidity levels they can use the side of the cage or water bowl to peel back the face and their body and the side of the cage for the rest. | ||
