It doesn't hurt to try him out....he may produce, he may not....if you want to know for sure if he's producing sperm...check and see. I had a male breed at 420 grams and produce just fine. I didn't check for plugs or anything...I just had 2 extra females and so I just tossed him in. As long as he's healthy and actually trying to breed and not acting stress its all good. I wouldn't necessary recommend it to most because every snake is different....but its your call....its not my snake to tell you what to do with it.
