A local vet that specializes in reptiles and exotics had me feed one of ours beef baby food (3 cc's)along with repcal pellets (3-5) soaked well and then rolled in ReptoCal calcium. These were fed through a pet syringe. In about a week he was eating on his own. We also increased the heat in the cage.

You need to check for parasites to rule out that cause for the non feeding and sluggish behavior. Make sure the tank is bright enough (dim lighting will depress a beardie) and hot enough (warm the cool side to about 90). You don't mention your set-up so I can't say if you all have that covered.

Usually brumation is determined by the length of the beardies day and the heat in the tank. However, a "hot" beardie old enough to brumate will still do so. Feel free to email me if you have extra concerns.
