Thanks for sharing your story. That took a lot! As an internet developer I have gone through many jobs over the past few years and fell into a deep depression at one point. You don't realize how bad it has gotten till you are right at the end. For me it was a mixture of job loss, an already existing chronic illness flair up from the stress, and those wonderful anti-depressents (the one they had me on had NOW has a side effect of depression listed) that had me sitting there with one of my swords figuring the best way to fix it into place. At that point I realized there was a problem. The thing that stopped me was that I looked at it as the coward's way out- NOT meaning that any other way but for me and my situation.

Bottom line, if someone is thinking those thoughts venomous snakes are not the best thing to be around. I can not imagine how painful that would be...
