A little help?

So I'm trying to raise the humidity in my 55 gallon tank because for some reason the guage says that it keeps dropping down to about 40%... And from what I understand, that's not a good thing..... I've gotten the temp regulated but the humidity is just concerning me... Am I going to have to bite the bullet and get one of those little foggers? Or does anyone else have and suggestions?
