Rubbermaid containers?

I just read a topic down below about using rubbermaid containers and what not. I'm sorry to bother yall again but I was wondering if you could clarify some issues for me. Like if its in one of those things how is heating accomplished? Also if its in a rack system or just in the rubber maid I assume it doesn't need light? Also how much do these things run in the cost range? I understand it'd need air holes to breathe but is it enough for good ventilation? And finally for checking ventilation, can I use a CO2 detector or oximeter to measure efficiency ( I have a few that the hospital didn't need anymore)?
