I agree. I have read ( cant remember were ) that retics, considered to be a very intelligent snake as far as snakes go have been observed displaying sight recognition of their care giver, so why not your snake also. I also had a burm years ago that would literally follow me around the yard even as I would walk in large circles. When I would stop he would crawl up my leg and I would then pick him up!!
