Tee-Hee!!

I was so tired I decided to a lay down for a couple of hours...wake up at 3pm, and there they are...doggone if I don't always miss it!! I really thought it would probably be tonight after darkfall.

There were a total of 14 babies (7 hypos/7 normals), no stills and no slugs. I figured her litter would be small. She's a small girl and it's her first litter.

She passed her thick pattern on to just a single normal...can't even tell if it will be pastel or not. But, outside of 1-2 normals, the rest all pinkjs bleeding through their neonate silver and seem to have their mother's strawberry saddles.

Over all disappointing...I had hoped to end up with a hypo having her pattern....but, regardless, I am extremely relieved that they are healthy, active babies.

When I put mom up, she ate a small rat for me right away. Seeing how thin she was, I so wanted to give her a large rat, but figured since she hasn't eaten in so long, it would be safest to start small.

I have too many gooey pics to post them all, so feel free to go to: http://www.boas2balls.com/'06%20PCBLT%20litter.htm to see them all.

Here are a few of my favorite shots.

The last one to emerge - it has neat polka-dot patterns on its saddles:
