try not to handle your snake after feeding, because they could still be in the feed mode. Shed wise, snake become extra shy, the old skin that covers the eye of the snakes reduces the vision of the snake. So that usually makes them fear things more, because they cant see very well. These are the times that most owners get nipped at, during feeding times, and shedding times.
