Posted by: wisema2297 at Fri Mar 31 16:14:09 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by wisema2297 ] If you dont know the sex of the snake and are probing to find out the sex a sperm plug could make you think a male was a female..unless ball python biology is a lot different than corns, and it could well be, I was advised by a breeder to wait until right after a shed to probe a suspected female because otherwise it could be a male with a sperm plug that keeps the probe from giving acurate results. I guess when the ball sheds it expells the sperm plug as well.....this is why I was asking on this site about doing the same with corn snakes. | ||
