I know one guy who is keeping adult ball pythons in 24"x24" Vision cages. The cages seem to work fine for him.
My favorite minimum cage size rule of thumb is 1/2 as long and 1/4 as wide as the snake is long. So a 48" ball python would get a cage that is 24"x12" or larger. In my opinion, any cage shape (square, circular, octagonal, rectangular, trapezoidal, etc.) with the same floor area or larger would be acceptable.
Sorry, I have no experience with Boaphile cages.
