What you are describing here sounds like it might be a prolapse. Is this protrution of flesh pinkish flesh sticking out of the vent itself? If so it is probably a prolapsed rectum and you should see a vet about it immeditely. Sometimes this tissue can be reinserted into the body and heal, but this does not always work and it may need to be stitched in place.



If I got anything wrong I'm sure one of the more scholarly forum herp marms will come along and correct me and set the record straight, lol. I myself have only experienced this condition once and I carefully reinserted the prolapsed tissue after lubing and treating the tissue with triple antibiotic ointment and it held and the female went on to have a normal life with normal defecations.
