I have wondered the same thing, I think they offer a reduced price for pairs and trios, so that they will sell faster, or help sell offspring, I have purchased pairs of siblings only to sell one. I think its more a sales thing than anything, Its better to sell 2 than to sell one, you make more money and unload more offspring. Many times you get a better price if you purchase more than one, a few times I have bought a pair for a better price, and then sold one to purchase another of a different bloodline...I think thats just the way the market goes...Sometimes they are heavy in one sex, which might change the way they sell offspring too...Reverse trios and not able to sell lone females..ect..ect.. I just keep my eyes open and sooner or later someone posts a lone sex of what I am looking for and for a good price...Patience is key... Good luck
