Tanks vs. Rubbermaid

Hi,



I've been keeping snakes for a while, but am new to BRB. I just purchased one a week ago, and she is a beaut. I'm hitting all her temperature and humidity requirements (temp 80-84F, humidity 70-80%), but was wondering why everyone is so against glass aquariums or terrariums for their BRBs. I have her in a 55 gallon. Is there any specific reason for rubbermaids besides keeping in humidity? I have a ultrasonic reptile fogger that rapidly humidifies her tank. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks,
