Is there any specific reason for rubbermaids besides keeping in humidity? I have a ultrasonic reptile fogger that rapidly humidifies her tank. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks,

Abhishek

Lots of reasons actually. Any idea where Rainbows come from (geography AND microhabitat)? They are found in the deep, dark, dank jungles of eastern South America under rotting longs, rotting leaves, in mud, in thick lush bushes, etc etc. Aquariums are open on ALL 5 sides!! Not exactly a nice cozy place to make a snake that's not normally seen in the open feel at home. They aren't built to see and experience tons of movement around them and would much rather be in an opaque container where they think that no one can see them.

Having said that, people keep them in aquariums all the time. No one has ever said that it couldn't be done. For sure. These things are next to impossible to kill. But when its a question of what is better, well that's obvious.

Best of luck....
